Come to British Costco with me!

There is nothing like a trip to Costco. Its exclusivity and expansive wide ranging delights are almost worth a day out exploring in themselves. We like to plan in a Costco trip every now and then stock up on some of our favourite things, but sometimes it’s important to take stock of all of the goodies that it has to offer, and for you American’s you get a taste of some of the English Costco options.

We like to plan in a Costco trip every now and then stock up on some of our favourite things, but sometimes it’s important to take stock of all of the goodies that it has to offer, and for you American’s to get a taste of some of the English Costco options.

Here’s 22 of the fun things we found.

22. Sriracha Hot chilli Almonds

We’ve never seen these bad boys before. Sriracha fans will go nuts for these! (Pardon the pun LOL!)

21. The Jelly Bean Factory

The mix of 36 flavours in a beautiful jelly bean jar all for £26.99 - looking back into our childhood we would have spent all of our pocket money on this bad boy.

20. Sour Chupa Chup Lollies

We’re always partial to a sour sweet and we’ve never seen these fun sour chupa chups before. Cannae wait to try these on - how sour is sour?

19. Kirkland Jumper (Grey)

This cheeky lil bad boy was only £15 - kinda wanted it - such a Costco standard.

18. Violanta - Cookies Full 45

Again very intrigued to try these… unfortunately Costco was lacking on the samples today but really did want to try these cookies.

17. Rowse Honey

This is the biggest one we’ve ever seen and we love it.

16. Bonne Mamam Raspberry Conserve

Can’t fault it - best jam. Period. Full stop. We’re out.

15. Pure Vanilla Extract

We took a pic of this so we could do some maths and work out if it’s actually better than the vanilla we currently use. Might be a while cos… maths ain’t ma strong suit.

14. Dried Gourmet Mushroom Mix

I’m curious… nothing more to say. Just curious.

13. Kusteaz Buttermilk Pancakes

Anyone tried these? Are they any good? Who knows… but they piqued our interest.

12. Chocolate Chips - Semi Sweet (51% Cacao)

These are such a must buy for bakers and plus they're dairy free so good for all you lactose avoiders!

11. Cheerafa

A classic cheese string dupe. Nothing like some fresh reelable cheese sticks! Yum.

10. Pizza Pocket Pepperoni (Piz-wich)

These are gross - do not buy these - been there… made that mistake. Don’t be like us… save yourself!

9. Auricchio

Never seen this cheese before - no idea what it’s like but we’re ready to try it.

8. Parmigiana.

3 things. Buy it. Grate it. Freeze it. WHAM BAM! That’s a parmigiana for you…

7. Korean Walbi & Pull apart Cheese Bread

Both of these would be very welcome at a party… very keen to try.

6. Pot of Prawns

If any of you remember that classic moment from Shark Tale… so funny!

5. Chocolate Sheet Cake

We’ve wanted to try this forever and the plain one is delicious.

4. Classic Costco Cookies

Does anymore need to be said - the OG of cookies.

3. Bread Rolls

Sometimes you just need something to put in the freezer so you’re ready for an emergency lunch.

2. Kirkland - Everything Bagels

Never found these in the UK before - so much fun! Really excited to try them.

1. Fresh Rambutan

Papa B loves these bad boys and to top it all off they look like crazy lil sea creatures.

The Best Breakfast Spot in London!

For this outing we’re heading to try the tantalising delights of Milk Beach in London. They’ve got two restaurants - one in Queen’s Park and one in Soho. Milk Beach have branded themselves as an ‘Modern Australian’ dining and we won’t lie we’re intrigued to head out and try their famous breakfast. One of the things I love is when restaurants chains allow a bit of diversity and Milk Beach has different menu’s at the different locations.

Welcome back to Here and There and this time we’re trying out the BEST breakfast spot in London. One of the things we pride ourselves on fair patrons is giving honest reviews of the hyped up spots on the internet. You may have even heard it said that we’re the Simon Cowell of Food reviews - FIRM BUT FAIR.

When we walked in - oh my goodness - we loved it! It was exactly our vibe from the soft pink of the sign, to their modern decor and minimalist design. We’re also a big fan of wooden features and Milk Beach had that aplenty. But, sometimes with restaurants that look really stylish they don’t always live up the hype. We get a bit worried that it is all style over substance. It’s not actually going to deliver the good food! And at the end of the day - when you go to a restaurant the food is what’s important y’know!

We ordered breakfast and we went for the pancakes - they looked absolutely delicious, with some yoghurt and a caramelised banana. And let me tell you… it was absolutely heavenly. We’re not exaggerating here, but this is the best pancake breakfast we have ever had in London. The yolk was perfectly yellow and drippy, the banana was like a creme brulee - crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The pancakes were thick; which isn’t our usual style. We’re more of a crepe family, but they were soft in the middle. Delicious!

Overall, Milk Beach was absolutely fantastic! The service was incredible, the food was insanely delicious and one thing that always sells me at these places is the staff. They could not have been more attentive and friendly. Plus! They all looked like models… like what the heck!

Milk Beach totally lived up to the hype - we had an incredible time. Finally, cos you know we love a look around the bathroom. They even had cocktail sticks for your teeth in the bathroom, what a great idea! We loved it.

If you’ve been to Milk Beach we would love to know your thoughts in the comments!

Let’s take a look

Idea 1: Rug Making

@gracebooth97

I could literally learn a new skill every day, why is rug making SO FUN!!!! (This is called tufting London for anyone who wants to do!!!!

♬ original sound - Grackle

There’s nothing better than learning a new skill! We love it! If you’re like us, the best way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon is doing something creative! So why not go rug making - this was the most fun day out! You and your partner can get tufting - all you need to do is send in a design (make sure you don’t have any rugrets) as you can’t change it after. The whole process is super satisfying and we LOVED getting to tidy it up with the rug shaver - SO SATISFYING! The best part is you get to take a cute little rug home at the end of the day!

Here’s a few ideas we found!

Idea 2: Food Markets

@gracebooth97

I feel like i havent seen anyone talk about the arcade food hall???? But i really rate it

♬ original sound - Grackle

There nothing more fun that a little competition when dating! Obvs not too much… But, taking an afternoon out to go and explore a new food market is so much fun. We went and tried the Arcade Food Hall in Tottenham Court Road - the food was delicious and it was great having all the options. They even had a little app, so it just arrived at your table - LOVE! Why not set up a little challenge - like letting them pick your meal - or who can get the best food for under £10?

Here’s a few other markets to try:

Idea 3: Taste Film

@gracebooth97 I FINALLY got tickets for taste film!! I was watching ratatouille but now i waht to see every other film 😬 so fun! #tastefilm #tastefilmlondon ♬ Chopin Nocturne No. 2 Piano Mono - moshimo sound design

We can’t quite believe it took us over a year to get tickets to Taste Film. But let me tell you it was well worth the hype and would be a very cute date! We went to see Ratatouille and it was incredible as they literarily bring you the food that you’re seeing on screen. They had every little detail thought of - and it was completely themed throughout. Our personal fave bit was the Leek and Potato soup - it had lil croutons and cheese! Of course they had to do the ratatouille and I loved that it came out and matched up with the quote - plus it was flipping delicious. The staff were great - and it even catered for non alcoholics.

Check it out - I think they’re doing Matilda at the moment!

@traveltothefridge Charlie & The Chocolate Factory at @Taste Film - I am in LOVE with this concept… the lady who came up with this idea is pure genius! It was such fun immersive experience. What other films do you think would work for this? #TastesFilm #LondonFood #LondonActivity ♬ Pure Imagination - Kathleen

We had so much fun finding all of these. Let us know in the comments your own unique date ideas - or if you’ve got any good rug designs! .
